Personalised Products

The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 (28.1(B))

(b)the supply of goods that are made to the consumer’s specifications or are clearly personalised;

This term may seem a little unfair at first glance, but please let us explain why this exists and why it’s something we choose to in our refund & cancellation policy.

When we receive an order, we have to select an item from our stock that has already been purchased to be engraved. Once this item is engraved and personalised, its value to another customer or business is removed or at least greatly diminished.

As a small business, it’s incredibly hard to absorb the total loss that incurs from a cancellation or a return on the basis of no longer wanting an item. If we accepted returns on this basis, a simple change of mind would result in the following losses:

  • Cost of us purchasing the original item
  • Our engraving costs
  • Delivery/packaging costs

It’s important that we emphasise this isn’t applicable in cases where there’s a problem with your order. We will always resolve any issues with quality or mistakes made by us.
